I think I have this conversation almost daily.
T: So what did you do this weekend?
S: I played Xbox most of the weekend and then I watched the new horror movie out.
T: Well, did you do your homework?
S: I really don’t see the point in spending so much time on something that’s not going to be useful to me in the future.
T: Wait, what?

Yeah, I think about every kid tries to pull this sooner or later. Now, whenever a kid asks me when they are ever going to use this, I just ask him, “What did you do last weekend?”
